Today over at Betty Bee's Buzz we are showing you the frames that we made while at the Honeybee Retreat! We were each instructed to bring a project that everyone could do. I made the t-shirts which you saw on my EAD Designs post. This is Roe's project!
This is the frame that I did. I haven't ordered the pictures yet and can't print them, but I wanted to show you my frame too!
Thank you SO much to Roe for putting together this fabulous project and letting me dive into your gorgeous papers and fabulous flowers!
Recipe:
Frame - from Roe
Paper: Roe's stack of DCWV Linen (I think)
Rosettes - from Roe!
Stamp: from Betty!
Ink: Momento in Cocoa
i-bond from Imaginice™ (to glue the flowers to the glass)
Instructions:
The frame came from me cutting the mat that was included with the photo frame. I simply cut one inch off all sides. I did this because I was in love with this paper and wanted the paper to show after I put the picture in!
I glued down the frame to the paper (I should have only done it on three sides so I could slide the picture in, but I forgot and glued it down on 4 sides so now I will have to use my x-acto knife to make a slit to slip the paper in!!! Silly me!!!)
I replaced the glass on top and used my i-bond and hot glue to glue down the flowers.
Here is the picture that will be going inside:
From left to right: Kristi, Roe, me, June, Wanda, Betty
Don't forget to head on over to Betty Bee's Buzz to see what the other honeybees did with their frames while we were at our little retreat! Play along and put a frame on something or decorate a frame and link up so we can buzz by and say hi!
***Don't forget to buzz over to the Imaginisce blog after you stop at Betty Bee's to see the Click it with Cricut post (giveaway there) as well as the March Sketch Challenge (giveaway there too)***
What a great job! I love what you did with the frame.
