So this week, My Pink Designers are supposed to create layouts... Well I don't know how long you have been following my blog, but I have only done one layout and that was for a challenge. I am not a scrapbooker by nature. I LOVE to send my work in the mail to someone else. So this really was a challenge for me.
Thankfully, someone who follows my blog had asked me to make a series of layouts for her since she liked my style. I agreed and she has been so much fun to work with!
I feel such a great responsibility because they are the layouts surrounding her wedding. This one that I decided to do for this challenge was for her husband's bachelor party. I am trying to challenge myself to do more manly cards (and apparently layouts) so off I went and I am so thrilled that she loves it! :) The pictures are blurred for her privacy.
I looked through my stamps and thought that "NOTE-ABLE" from Music Speaks™ was a perfect fit! So I put it right in the middle of the photos.
Recipe:
Cartridge: Graphically Speaking™ (GREAT for all kinds of cards!) and Gypsy Wanderings™
Embossing Folder: Oh My Crafts Exclusive Everyday Shapes™(Apparently they are out of stock)
"Note-able" - My Pink Stamper: Music Speaks™
Cardstock: Core'dinations Nostalgia pack™
Imaginisce d-stress tool for sanding the edges of the Core'dinations layer (LOVE this tool)
Crown stamp: Union Square "Perfect" Stamps™
Gem stone on crown: Union Square "Favorite" Brads™
Crown on right page: Union Square "Home Sweet Home" Glittered Dimensional Die Cut™
Crown tag on left page: Union Square "Home Sweet Home" Glittered Accessories Sheet™
Alphas: Jillibean Soup: newsprint chipboard alphabeans™ and American Crafts "Dear Lizzy" thickers (red glitter)
Ink: Colorbox in black
Whew! What a recipe list! :)
Now for some close ups of different areas:
