May Arts Ribbon Cutting Blog Hop and giveaways!

Hello!!! We are SOOO excited today to launch the new website which is SOOO awesome! Check it out HERE!!! And IIIIIIII am so excited to have you stop by my blog! Welcome!

You should have gotten here from the crazy-talented Jessica Kephart's blog! If not, start HERE at the beginning at May Arts to see what the fuss is about, enter to win over $1000 of prizes (no, there is not an extra "0" on that... it really is $1000!!!) and get ready to be inspired!

Today's theme was "ribbon cutting" as it is our ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the website! Fun, right!? I love puns. Anywho, I had this awesome wired ribbon that you will be seeing shortly when I post about Emmaline's first birthday party. I thought - why not make it look like you cut the ribbon, it rolled back, and balloons came out!?

I made these balloons by free cutting some wonky circles and then sewing them, stuffing them, and sewing them around the edges to show off the wonky-ness. I just wanted this to be a little more playful and less perfect. Some May Arts paper cording was PERFECT for the tails!
