Bunny Mask

So I am super bummed that I have been on bedrest during the time for these projects because I am SOOO not done with this line! This is a fun kids' project or something fun to put in their Easter baskets!

It's cute and fun and DID YOU SEE THOSE KITES in the springtime line!?! ugh. love.

So apparently getting a 19 month old to model a mask is.... nearly impossible. I even tried bribery - something I am generally opposed to. I used raisins which are like her candy!

So I tried taking one of myself but a: I resized it to fit Emmaline and b: I am not nearly as cute.

So I took one of my unsuspecting newborn! Surprise! She didn't even need bribing! Introducing 2 week old Charlotte Rose - making her Doodlebug debut!

Thanks for checking out my little bunny mask! Have a beautiful day!

I am linking this up to the current Silhouette challenge: spring or spring colors.

recipe:
doodlebug: springtime "colorful kites"
doodlebug: springtime "bitty butterflies"
doodlebug: bumblebee chevron sugar coated cardstock

St. Patrick's Day with Imaginisce

Hello! I admit that I don't send a lot of St. Patty's Day cards which is embarrassing since I am mostly Irish. But I do enjoy sending them to smaller humans as I think they get a real kick out of getting something cute and quirky in the mail. :)

This little worm was super fun. I hid the face that was originally in the die cut and replaced it with a stamp so I could add a little more character. St. Patrick's Day is all about the sparkle for me so I added some glitter pretty much wherever I wanted to accent.

Now break out your Imaginisce patterned papers, find the greens, golds, and oranges and make a card for someone random - just to make them smile. :)

Supply List:
Imaginisce: Patterned Papers (Welcome Spring)
Imaginisce: Bling (My Baby)

Kraft in Color - Shaped Card

The new Kraft in Color collection.... what can I say... I. LOVE. IT! The patterns are awesome. The colors are perfect. There is neither too much white nor just one pattern (like polka dots). There is so much variability. If I could tell any crafter - especially beginners - to buy just one (well two) collections it would be Kraft in Color - Color and Kraft in Color - Kraft. Both collections are equally amazing. Get both! Trust me!

I used both 6x6 pads to create this card. There are 7 patterned papers on this card along with sprinkled vellum for the bee wings.

I wanted to add some sparkle so I used some liquid glue around the edges of the butterflies and ran the crown through my Xyron sticker maker and glittered away!

I used a lot of dimension on this card and had a great time with it! The sprinkles vellum is popped up on the big bee to give it a fun wing effect.

I finished it off with a happy birthday sticker that conveniently matched the bee wings. I LOVE how doodlebug cares so much about coordinating colors across collections!

Thanks for taking a peek at my project and I hope you have a beautiful day!

May Arts and Penny Black!

Welcome welcome!!!

This whole week the Ribbonistas are hopping with Penny Black! We were so spoiled by Penny Black (THANK YOU!!) There are three different stamp sets on this card!

I was THRILLED to finally see a stamp with a Yorkie on it! We have a Yorkie and most stamp sets seem to have Poodles so I was so excited!

I elected not to color the picture all the way in as I didn't want too many colors on the card.

After having a baby a little over a week ago, I am totally jealous of this chick's chic-ness! My current state of "classy" MAY include a real shirt instead of a pajama shirt! ;)

Doodlebug - Glitter Love Tutorial

You can never have too much glitter! Courtney from Court's Crafts here! :) I love the sugar coated cardstock and the different fineness of the sugar coating (glitter). I wanted to make a card that would show them all off! The "thank you" is covered in the normal fine glitter and the stars have the chunky glitter on them. I love the effect and I hope you do too! Here is how I did it.

recipe:
doodlebug pastel cardstock
doodlebug jewel cardstock
doodlebug sugar coated cardstock lilac dot
doodlebug sugar coated cardstock limeade
doodlebug sugar coating
doodlebug sugar coating chunky glitter
doodlebug fruit stand 6x6 pad
doodlebug doodles cardstock stickers - thank you in lily white
