Thanksgiving/Harvest Party Bottle Tag
Hi Echo Park Fans!!! I just cannot say enough great things about The Story of Fall. I LOVE this collection. From the foxes to the hedgehog and the bright blue mixed in; this collection has knocked it out of the park for fall.
I wanted to make something festive to bring to a party. I made a wine tag file for you to copy it! (see below for the link). This fits white bottles really well (with the tapered neck). It also fits reds but with a bit of an angle at the top. I resized the middle hole to 2” if you do not want the tapered look.
Then I scored the tag at 3.5”.
Next I die cut “grateful”, the fox, and the background label piece. Then I punched a hole in the corner and added a brad to the background label piece.
Then I wrapped some twine around the fox and tied a bow. I added a jewel brad to embellish it a little. Every fox needs some bling! :)
Now just embellish. I added chipboard photo corners in the top right and bottom left corners. I added some foam dimensional tape to the back of the “FUN” ephemera and put it in the corner. Then I added some chipboard leaves around the “It’s Fall Y’all” sentiment.
I finished it off by adding a border sticker on top of the “FUN” sentiment and finished it off with a big bow at the top.
I added a lot of dimension on this as I knew it wasn’t going in the mail. I love dimension! Don’t be afraid to layer layer layer!
So the next time you are headed to a party and want to dress up a bottle of apple cider or even a liter soda bottle make a tag for it! :)

Candy Cane House
Hi! I'm up on the Echo Park Paper blog today with a super fun candy cane house to decorate your house with this holiday season! I cannot help it. I think it is totally darling. I hope you enjoy it too and there are so many great embellishments in this collection that make decorating this house feel like decorating a gingerbread house!
Here are all the pieces cut out according to the cut file instructions - see! It’s not that bad!
Next I worked on the front and went a little crazy with the snow effect… but I had fun! I put it on the bottom and under the windows.
Okay… and then I added some more to the edges of the roof… and as many other places as possible. :)
After that I realized that I wanted to work some of the washi tape in and add a little extra detail to the top of the house.
Time to embellish!!! On the adhesive chipboard sheet you will find these awesome 3-d snowflakes. They felt like gumdrops to me!
I also found this awesome polar bear (and the tree on the other side) on the adhesive chipboard sheet! How cute is he!?!
Just a view from the top. :)
Okay, maybe I got a little carried away with these GORGEOUS enamel dots but I think they totally made the “details” of the project. I felt like my candy cane house became a little swiss chalet!
And here it is all completed. My little girls are VERY excited about this candy cane house. And I love the way the red looks against the blue for contrast. Very frosty! :) I hope this inspires you to create a little home decor for your house this season. This would also make a really cute teachers’ gift!
