St. Patty's Day Fun with Imaginisce ***Giveaway alert***

Welcome to my blog version of "Click it with Cricut" with Imaginisce! If you haven't come from there, make sure you pop over to the Imaginisce Blog to see what Cari Locken has created as well! She is fabulously talented and classy to boot. I LOVE her work and am so honored to be her partner for this post!

As a redhead and someone who is more Irish than not, I LOVE St. Patrick's Day! On top of the fact that redheads can wear green like nobody's business (don't try to put us in most reds, hot pinks, or oranges... ever!), green is my favorite color and so I LOVE that for one day it is EVERYwhere!

I wanted to throw some surprising things into the mix with these cards and this is one of them. I used the Halloween seasonal October 31st cartridge for this card. It's not just for Halloween! :) I simply cut off the stick that was coming out of the cauldron to make a pot at the end of the rainbow!
Happy St. Paddy's Day using OCTOBER 31st cartridge.

Recipe:
Cartridge used: October 31st
Imaginisce: i-rock
Solid cardstock from Paper Trey Ink and glitter blue layer from DCWV™
Sentiment from K& Co.
Ribbon from Paper Trey Ink: Pure Poppy in Saddle-stitch™
White gel pen

Instructions:
Fold one A2 sized card (5.5"x4.5").
Cut the sparkle blue layer at 5 3/8"x 4 1/8".
Cut the Enchanted paper at 5 1/4" x 4".
Cut a piece of ribbon and adhere behind layers.
Cut the cauldron at 4.5" because you are cutting off the stick that is coming out of the top.
Doddle around edges with pen
Use the cauldron to choose the place of your rainbow and adhere Berrylicious canvas rainbow sticker to the card.
Use pop dots to adhere cauldron to the card and fill with Glam Rocks in Metallic Pearl.
Use your i-rock to adhere.
Add blue jewels to the corners and add your sentiment!

On this next one, I was trying to show you how versatile the lines are. All the brown paper is from the Cottage Christmas collection and the shamrock is made from the Animal Crackers line. Don't forget about using the paper collections to their full potential! Also, remember you can use all of the Cricut Cake cartridges in your Expression machine like I did here.
Believe using DESIGNER'S CALENDAR and CAKE BASICS

Recipe:
Cartridge used: Designer's Calendar™and Cake Basics
Cuttlebug folder: Swiss Dots™
Imaginisce: i-rock
White cardstock from Paper Trey Ink™
Ribbon from my stash
Ink: Momento in Rich Cocoa
Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares™ and Glue Glider Pro with perma-tac™

Fold one A2 sized card (5.5"x4.5").
Cut the brown layer at 5 3/8"x 4 1/8".
Cut the Berrylicious paper at 5 1/4" x 4".
Cut a piece of ribbon and adhere behind layers.
Tie a bow and adhere using Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares.
Cut brown circle at 3" (mine was actually cut at 2.83" because I did it on my Gypsy)
Cut yellow polka dotted circle at 2.75"
Cut white layer at 2.75"
Cut clover at 2.75"
Run clover through your Cuttlebug™ using the Swiss Dots Emboss Folder™
Adhere together using foam dots to separate the yellow layer and the white layer to give it dimension.
Add your rhinestones using your  i-rock
Voila! You're done!

Lastly, I didn't want to have a post without another shaped card. You do need a Gypsy so create this exact look, but using an eyelet setter and punching eyelets in the top to connect the front and back half will work just as well and will give you two cute bows at the top after you connect them with ribbon or twine!
Make a Wish! using DESIGNER'S CALENDAR

Recipe:
Cartridge Used: Designer's Calendar on my Gypsy
Imaginisce: i-rock
Imaginisce: Compact in Crystal
Imaginisce: i-rock Swirls Stencil
Cardstock from Paper Trey Ink™
Gold Embossing Powder: Paper Trey Ink™
Twine
Charm from K & Co.
Ink: Versamark

On your Gypsy, weld two 4.25" shadows of the shamrocks at the top. Make sure they are aligned.
Cut base card out of white cardstock.
Cut another 4.25" shadow shamrock out of white cardstock and adhere to front.
Cut regular 4.25" shamrock out of the Berrylicious Collection: "Just Peachy"™ paper.
Remember that the real dial size is off so that even though they are both cut at "4.25" they layer properly.
Place the i-rock Swirls Stencil over the project and rotate it until you like where the swirls are.
Use your i-rock to set the clear gems.
Add tiny black gems from the compact in pink, black, and clear to places that you would like to highlight.
Heat emboss your sentiment.
Tie twine around the stem of the shamrock and add your "lucky" charm!

Thank you SO much for joining me today for the Click it with Cricut post. Remember to head over to the Imaginisce Blog to see the fabulous cards that Cari came up with and remember to leave a comment over there to win the Give a Hoot cartridge!

I loved on the first card how you used the cauldron and that the card perfectly celebrated the holiday without being all green :) The gold jewels are the perfect touch! The second card--beautiful color and pattern picks! Shaped card awesome!!
