Operation Write Home and a birthday wish

This is my first time using embossing powders and I am in love.

I was definitely inspired by the cards from the DT shown on the Embellish Magazine Website

Recipe:
Cartridge: Cake Basics™
Paper: DCWV™ (black), Bazzill™ (white), Echo Park: A Walk in the Park™
Gypsy™
Stamps: Hero Arts CL 139™, Inkadinkado™ (what a cute name!) 97626
Embossing Powders: a la mode™ (white and black)
Ink: VersaMark: Watermark Ink Pad

Challenges:
Raven's challenge: Make an Operation Write Home card and send it
Scrap Review: Card made on World Card Day
Embellish magazine: Black, White, Yellow with stamped background

I love the yellow with the black and white! I really like the pearls on the butterfly too! Great ideas. Your card would fit right in with those cards in the magazine. Great job!

Definitely love the color combo and the layout. I have the same colors on my tablr to make a mini album (black cover, yellow butterfly, cream pages)
