Lori Whitlock February Blog Hop!

Hello out there!!! I've missed all of you but I am back in the groove! :)

This is my FIRST EVER mini album!!! I was so intimidated but I saw this heart shaped album and just HAD to make it for "grandma" for Valentine's Day. I know she'll love it! 

Check out this super fun wired string. I kind of love it. I just wrapped it around a pen and voila! 

So.. check this out. The hearts get progressively smaller so I was able to center my picture on the next page in the middle of this page. I LOVE the peekaboo effect! 

This is the proud grandma holding her third that was born just a few weeks ago! :) 

Here is my second holding my third. Aren't they precious!? I love everything about the Doodlebug Sweet Things Collection. The embellishments are just too cute!

Lori's album cut file made it SO easy to put this together. I just cut everything twice. I added some stitching around two of the hearts and finished it off with some embellishments. 

Here is my first outside of her ballet class on a rainy day. Too cute. I love the way this album nests so that you can cut a bold outer layer and still get your cute patterned paper in there. I am all about the nesting layers! :) 

This is my second holding the album we made. The girls helped me decide on the papers for it and even made a miniature version with the heart cut out scraps. It was really sweet.
