Emmaline's Rocking Horse

This is another project that I did pre-baby for post-baby scheduling. :)

Here is a new picture of miss Emmaline! I have been on bed rest for over a week now (torture for a busy body like me!) and I cannot wait to do everything for myself again. I am a terrible patient! I also cannot wait to get into my craft room! But I love every minute with this little girl so much. I seriously just stare at her for half hours at a time. She was just in my belly!!!

She just got changed. Happy baby! She loves to be clean!

Her first Janie and Jack outfit! (I LOVE Janie and Jack!!!) The large bump on her head is a cephalhematoma. It should be gone in 2-12 weeks but you can see it in some of the pictures. Poor thing. It's seriously the size of a baseball but I keep trying to take pics from the other side! haha.

Sleepy smile!

The background 12x12 burlap frame is from Canvas Corp. I wanted to make something with it as soon as they sent it to me and I have been hoarding it for MONTHS in order to make this clean and simple wall hanging. I hope you like it!

Hmm.. This pic makes it look like the little thing underneath doesn't match the curve of the horse, but I fixed it after this photo was taken. The mini spools are from Jillibean Soup.

I'll have to show pictures of the baby room soon! :)

Oh, I am in love. I don't see any bump at all, just a beautiful sweet angel girl. I imagine the grandparents are all vying for baby time and I wondered if you ever get a chance to hold her. I remember spending long periods of time watching my girls and memorizing their sweet faces, fingers, toes, cute little hands, their "bracelets" (fold of skin at the wrist), arms, legs, ears...I could eat them with a spoon. (Please tell Spoon if she is reading this that I would never eat her; it is a figure of speech.) I am eating up every picture you post of this perfect baby. Love you, Emma!!!!
