I miss your face.

Hello and welcome to my Shop Pumpkin Spice post for today!

We had a blog hop yesterday filled with some AWESOME cards and a layout too! Be sure to check it out! The challenge this week is Stars or Fireworks so if you have anything that qualifies, be sure to link up HERE. Also, voting has begun for the last challenge. Be sure to vote HERE

Okay, I made another card for my best friend Kourtni. I make too many of these cards and never send them to her so I need to send this one! Hold me accountable! Do you get the sentiment with the picture? It took my husband a second. tee hee. :)

Designer's note: I generally HATE coloring. So instead I filled in the stripes on the dress with stickles. BONUS! Texture AND sparkle!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration from Court - Valentine Card

In case you missed it, we had a blog hop yesterday for Shop Pumpkin Spice! They are now doing weekly challenges with prizes, etc! It is going to be awesome! Check it out HERE!

So... this card was inspired by some cards made by Melinda Spinks... but... I like Melinda's better. haha. I'll keep re-trying till I get it! :)

Naturally all of this can be found at Shop Pumpkin Spice!

I used this sketch from Artful Delight!

Hello My Friend

This is another card I made with the January Kit from Artful Delight

Recipe:
Artful Delight January Kit
Striped twine from the Twinery
Solid twine from Paper Trey Ink
Sentiment: Unity Stamp Itty Bitty "Hello My Fiend"
Stickles in Christmas Red from Artful Delight's December Kit (currently sold out)
White Embossing Powder from A la Mode
Heat Emossing Gun: Coloriser by EK Success
Liquid Applique from Artful Delight's Website (currently sold out)
Adhesive: Glue Arts

Design Notes:
This was my first time working with liquid applique. I had a great time! Per the directions, I let it dry overnight and then heated it with a heat embossing gun. I just love the result! I wish I would have done this on all of my Christmas cards for snow, but I think it looks great as frosting too! :)

Unfortunately the January Kit is already sold out, but you can get ahead of the game and sign up for February's as it is going to be awesome!
