Artful Delight: September Card Kit (Sold out! Sorry!)

*Designer Notes*
I wanted to keep this really clean and simple. I was in love with this little pumpkin and his green pin striped leaf the minute I saw him. Isn't it adorable!?! Debbie made these to put in the kit. Anyway, I really just wanted to showcase the pumpkin so I kept it simple. I LOVE EAD Designs stickerz - if you have been around my blog, you certainly know that! So I was excited to incorporate them into this project. I hope you enjoy it!

My first pop-up card!

**woot woot! My Core'dinations rainbow thank you cards are being featured at Practical Scrappers! Thank you Practical Scrappers! You can click on the name to take you to the post. :) **

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today for my Pumpkin Spice post I am sharing with you a baby/thank you card! My friends just found out that they are expecting another child. They are my friends with identical twin 18 month olds! Whew are they going to have their hands full! :) I am very excited for them.

They had us over for dinner while we were in Las Vegas so I wanted to make a thank you card for them. It turned into a baby card!

They were surprised on the sex for their girls and are waiting again to find out for this one, so I had to make a gender neutral card.  I hope they like it!

It's also my first attempt at a pop-up card! Here is the inside.

Fall is When Nature Turns to Gold and WINNER call!

**I still have not heard from two winners. I will give you 48 hours and then I will be drawing new winners! Check to see if you are one of them HERE**

Happy Fall!

Thank you so much for all of your support through my grandfather's passing. It was SUCH a great comfort to me. I was going to go back and try to email you all or go to your blogs, but I have 450 comments and I feel like I need to take a deep breath and then move forward so I will be trying to get back to you more moving forward. I hope that doesn't insult any of you because I SO appreciate the time you took to leave those messages. They meant so much. Thank YOU!

I did a - hold your breath - Cricut-less and stamping only card! It was practically painful! haha. But I had inspiration and I just went with it!

Core'dinations Rainbow Set of Cards

Hello!

I hope you all had so much fun hopping along with us and I can't wait to find out which of you won things! There is still time to get your comments in, so check out Artful Delight's blog HERE for all the details. Also, don't forget to play and link up to the challenges in case you win the 6 months of kits! What a HUGE prize!

Now, for today I wanted to participate in the Core'dinations color challenge! There is still time to play! :)  Instead of putting all of the colors on one card, I made a card set. I picked out my twine from the Twinery and matched the Core to that. I think they look SUPER good together! My Core colors came from Roy-G-Biv™ and Elements™.

Everyone always needs thank you notes, so these little ones are perfect to tuck in places or leave behind when you are staying at someone's house!

Today's challenge is a sketch challenge!

If you got here from Julie's blog, then you are in the right place! If not, start HERE at the Artful Delight blog.

It is our lovely leader Leeanne's birthday today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEEANNE!!! This is actually the birthday card that I made for her! Hopefully it will arrive at her house today! :)

Happy Birthday Bee-u-tiful

Okay, so I took some liberties with the sketch. The big rectangle is the tree. The small square is the bee. The layer behind it with it's layer is the frame and the background. The circle is the button and the scalloped edge is the twine. The sentiment is where the small rectangle goes on the bottom right. Remember to always use your imagination with sketches! They are meant to kick start YOUR creativity! :)

Recipe:
  • Artful Delight's April Kit. It's sold out but I just wanted to show those that purchase the kits how useful they can be months later and how great they are! You'll see a different kit each day that I am still creating with because she packs so much into them!
  • Twine: The Twinery
  • Sentiments: My Pink Stamper: Sweetest Cupcakes™ (Happy Birthday) and My Pink Stamper: Punny-licious™ (Bee-u-tiful)

Artful Delight is having an AMAZING set of Coupon Codes for you to use to purchase kits! This is SUCH a great deal! This is the deal in her own words:

For 1 week only I am offering pre-payment on subscriptions. There will be an option to purchase a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription with a coupon code for 34% off. I know kind of a weird sale percentage but I am turning 34 on September 23rd so that is where the number came from. The coupon code will be taken off just the price of the subscription and then the full shipping charges will be applied at checkout.

So just so you see the savings, there is a $9.35 savings per kit (off the 6 month subscription price) if you pre-pay and use the coupon code. It is only on pre-payment of subscriptions.

There will be a 15% coupon code for any purchase over $23.00.

The 34% off coupon code is BDAYBASH
The 15% off coupon code is BDAYBASH15

Lucky to have you for my friend

Good Wednesday mornin' to you all!!! I made this card for my Pumpkin Spice post! I hope you like it!

I made this for my best friend Kourt who moved from being here locally in California to Omaha, Nebraska. I miss her all the time. So I wanted to send her a card to let her know she's the BEST! She loves elephants as much as I do!

My Pink Designer Showcase - Cricut Banner

WELCOME to this week's edition of the My Pink Designer Showcase! The challenge for us designers (if you want to call it a challenge - I had SO much fun!) was to come up with a project that was orange, black, green, and purple and used the new Spook-alicious line!

Many of you know that there was a contest that is just ending where Provo Craft asked us to make a banner that spelled out Cricut and send it in for a chance for it to appear on HSN and therefore win a new E2 AND (if you are a Circle member) $150 credit to Cricut.com! What an AWEOME prize! So this is what I made for the contest! Wish me luck!

I wanted to use my new Apothecary Emporium from Echo Park too! I know that they have been good to Robyn and that she loves their papers and in my opinion they go hand in hand!

I crinkled the spider in my hand really firmly. It's cut out of card stock vellum. It's my newest fad! Do you see the "Boo to you!" sign? Love it! My Pink Stamper stamps made this SO much more festive!

I know the skeleton has arms and legs, but I cut them out and then liked him better without them still. I thought it kept him not quite as creepy. haha. Maybe because without arms and legs he can't get me!

I also did quite a bit of i-rocking on the bottom of the letters.

LOVE that spider stamp that Robyn includes in the Spook-alicious stamp set! It's kind of cute in a creepy way!! I inked around the edges in the same white American Crafts ink that I used to stamp the words to give it a haunted feel.

Now, I will give a design secret away. I had plans on getting that fake spider web stuff and putting it behind my letters! I wish I would have done it but I ran out of time before I needed to send this off! So don't forget to incorporate that into your Halloween projects! I am sure it will end up making it into mine! :) I thought the raffia was good enough for this one though and made it not so scary feeling!

I hope you like it! Head on over to the My Pink Stamper Blog to see what the other ladies made with the Spook-alicious stamp set! I'm sure they will be spook-tacular!

Cartridges: Wild Card™ (spider web), October 31st™ (bat, skeleton, sign (characters hidden on Gypsy), spider), and Blackletter™ (letters)

Thank You

Well, this card is PERFECT for today's post! I would like to say THANK YOU to all of you for all of your support, encouragement, kind words, and ... and... and... You have been FABulous! I have been tickled pink and consider you all friends. Thank you for believing in me!!!

I definitely owe you some mixed media projects and they will be coming up probably in October. Would you believe that almost every day for the rest of the month I have something due for a design team so I can't squeeze them in at the moment, but I will get you something other than cards very soon! :)

Thank You

Recipe:
Artful Delight September Card Kit (sold out, but there are a few scrapbook kits still I think!)
Glossy Accents™
Picturesque Cartridge
i-bond™ by Imaginisce

*Notes: I have NEVER used chipboard that is SO sticky! I was SO impressed by the amount of adhesive that is on the back! Make sure you have it where you want it before you stick it down! I loved it!*

*I also used my i-bond (cordless hot glue gun) to put all of the layers together so that they would stick. When looking from the side, this card is about 3/4 of an inch thick! It's so big!*

Don't forget to let the card evolve into what it wants to be. This card was originally supposed to go with the sketch challenge HERE. I was going to have the leaves pop out where the circles are and put the flower on the far right. Then it just started to want to take on it's own shape and I went with it and now I love it!

Apple of My Eye

This card came to me in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. I woke up, thought about it.... then I woke up in the morning and executed. I know that I have been really "punny" and therefore there should be an apple on here somewhere, but I actually covered up the apple with a heart. I still think that you can say, "You're the apple of my eye" without it having to be punny. :) So I hope you enjoy it!
