I Truly Appreciate All You Do ... SPS Blog Hop and **GIVEAWAY alert**

Welcome to the Shop Pumpkin Spice September Blog Hop! You should have gotten here from Lenae's blog! If not, start at Shop Pumpkin Spice's blog HERE.

First of all, we have to give a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to our WONDERFUL sponsor Denine because yesterday was her BiRtHdAy!!!! So be sure to leave her some birthday love on the Shop Pumpkin Spice Blog!!!

****
Well, my posts have been a little short recently and that's because I have been spending a lot of time in Monterey supporting my mom and visiting my grandfather who is dying of cancer. He is the BEST patient and always so upbeat and so brave. He says he is feeling fine every day no matter how much pain he is in. He has been an incredible example to all of us in the family and we are so proud of him. I am thankful for every moment we get to spend with him.

I made this for the physical therapist who is helping him to walk. We had a not so great one before her and this one is just SO fabulous with him and really understand him. They brighten each other's days and he makes splendid progress with her. I just wanted to let her know how much we appreciate her.

This month's theme for the blog hop is My Mind's Eye!! The girls were to use ANY My Mind's Eye products in their projects as they are one of the chief lines that Shop Pumpkin Spice carries AND this month's kit that Carissa designed is made with My Mind's Eye!

I think I should have used black ink because you can barely read the sentiment on the bottom! I promise it's clearer in real life. :)

Recipe:

AND this is a new month which means we have a NEW kit from DT member Carissa! There are sneak peeks at all the blogs on the blog hop so check it out!
Here is my sneak peek!

Now, head on over to my fabulous friend June's blog

When you get to the end make sure to leave a comment on Shop Pumpkin Spice's blog leaving some birthday love for Denine and thereby entering yourself in the giveaway! I think it will be just what your "Mind's Eye" wanted! :)

I love your card, Court! I think it is so much fun to see your Cricut creations...I own that cartridge too and I never envisioned using this cut the way that you did!

Absolutely beautiful card. So sorry for what your grandfather is going through but it's wonderful you are able to spend time with him. I lost both of my parents to cancer but was fortunate to be with them...
I worked in rehab facilities as a speech therapist for many years and I know for certain this gesture of gratefulness you expressed to the PT was well deserved and in return very much appreciated.

I had to delete my last comment and redo it. I hate when I start typing too fast and don't notice when I write the wrong word. :)

Absolutely beautiful!! I love all the papers you used and the stitching you added. Your Grandpa's physical therapist is going to love it! Tfs and have a great day. :)

I've fallen in love with this card! It has an element of beautiful simplicity but at the same time there's a lot of fun things going on! The pretty detail of the flowers, the contrasting patterns, the ribbon, the inking! It comes together very nice =]

Keep Krafting!

Your garndfather reminds me of my dad, who is in his late 70's and suffers from shingles and a heart condition...but always tried to remain upbeat! I love your card as I'm sure the therapist will! Thanks to your daily emails, I found this hop! FUN!

The vase on the card is my favorite part! The stripes give it great dimension and the greens are perfect! I do hope you enjoy every minute with your grandfather. My grandfather passed away almost 13 years ago from cancer and I cherish every memory with him. They will go on with me for the rest of my life as I'm sure yours will with you.
