Happy Birthday Gift Bag

This one didn't photograph as well. It is probably my favorite card I made with the October kit! I hope you like it too!

Designer's Tip: If you want a "tissue paper" look - use tissue paper! There is almost always some lying around the house - tucked inside of an old gift bag, in the Macy's gift wrap section, etc. I tuck tissue paper away in my scrap box and I was SO glad I did for this project! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNE!

Happy birthday to my sweet sweet friend June! Head on over to her blog and leave her some birthday love! :)

LOVE YOU FRIEND and have enjoyed every minute of getting to know you! It's amazing when someone on a DT that you NEVER would have known becomes a lifetime friend! I feel so blessed!

Yummy-licious

Loving this Everyday Pop-Up Cartridge! I just can't get enough of it! Shannon (the Irish Scrapper) asked me if this was a "must have" cartridge. Thanks for the question Shannon! I would have emailed you but your email isn't in your blogger profile. Anyway, the answer (for me) is ABSOLUTELY! I don't know how many of the images I have cut from this cart in one month since I got it, but it is almost all of them!

I also love this October kit from Artful Delight!

Brother

Bittersweet: This is the last month I will be a DT member for Artful Delight WAAAAHHH, but I have LOVED this year that I have been on this DT and cherish all the memories and the people I met. I'll do some more "crying" on my final post, so for now I'll just delve into my project!

This was the first card I made with Artful Delight's October Kit! It is for the sketch challenge where YOU could win next month's kit if you win! Check it out HERE

I made it using this sketch:

I made this for my husband's little brother - who I have naturally assumed is my brother now too as I never had any siblings. He puts up with me ;) I could not have gotten luckier when it comes to family that I married into and I just ADORE him! He's single ladies and oh so handsome! He's the second best man I have ever met (only second to my husband). Applications can be sent to CourtsCraftsBlog@gmail.com. haha. But I seriously am thinking about putting him up for the next Bachelor! :)

Awww! Isn't he just the most handsome!?! LOVE him!

Imaginisce October Sketch Challenge!

I am really excited to show you this month's sketch. I think it is BEE-utiful! I - the non-layout person- even considered doing a layout with this because I was so inspired by this sketch! A HUGE thanks to DT member Kim for creating it!

While I was totally inspired to do a layout, I decided to show you what it could look like if it were turned into a card.

Unfortunately my fabulous friend Christy just found out that her mom was diagnosed with cancer. We don't have a prognosis yet, but it is always incredibly hard news to hear. So I made this card for her. She got it last night when she came over to continue our Twilight marathon. :) I can't wait until Breaking Dawn comes out!!!

Here is the sketch it was based on:

World Card Making Day Core'dinations Challenge!

Quick post for today, but it was SUPER fun that my husband woke up and said, "I want to make a card!" So I spent most of the morning helping him make his card which I will show at a later date. :)

However, here is my card that I whipped together to participate in the Core'dinations WCMD challenge and monthly October Challenge

Ribbon from my stash and twine is PTI

Here is the color challenge swatch. I was really inspired by the example card by Ellen Sosnoski. I am looking at it now and my oranges are more yellow than orange, but I promise I thought they looked close in real life before I cut them. :(
