500th post GIVEAWAY Day 4 - SPS Hop!

So today we are doing the hop for Shop Pumpkin Spice, but it is also day 4 of my giveaway. Make sure you hop through all of the girls' posts!

You should have gotten here from the beginning at the Shop Pumpkin Spice blog!

Also, there are a TON of new items in the Shop Pumpkin Spice store! Make sure to check it out! This was made with the May kit using MME Indie Chic! There are still some available and they are in a kit bundling price - such a great discount!

It seemed only right to give away some flowers with My Pink Stamper "Flowers and Friendship"! :) I love this set. I think it kind of got hidden in her release, but the little {HUGS} stamp makes me so happy!

Make sure you have left a comment on the three other days of giveaways if you would like to win them and hold onto your hats because there are 3 more days of giveaways to go!

Now hop on over to my sweet friend June's blog

You're a Great Catch - Father's Day Card

I made this for the Imaginisce June Challenge. It is a sketch challenge using over 75% Imaginisce as well.

I made this for my Father-in-Law who I call my co-dad. He's fantastic and he'll be fly-fishing in Idaho during Father's Day so he is receiving this WAY early! For me, he was a great catch of a father-in-law. He is wise, patient, kind, and caring. I got super lucky.

3x3 Calling Cards

Hello!!! I am SO sorry I have been MIA for a couple of days! I went to a crop on Friday night - a Cricut Circle crop in San Jose and just had a BLAST! The ladies were lovely, it was low key, AND I even got something done! But I can't show it to you yet... :)

At every Cricut Circle meet-up, we make old fashioned 3x3" calling cards. We can put whatever we want on the front and the back will have our information: name, email address, and blog site. It's like having business cards to trade with each other but super fun.

I made three versions based on the amount of paper I had. All in all, we made 30 of these to pass around.

If you ever have any questions about the Circle, I am ALWAYS happy to answer them as I LOVE the Circle! :)

Above: Diana L. (left) and Lezlye L. (right) - both Shop Pumpkin Spice DT sisters! :) Lezlye and I have gotten together to craft before and we have an awesome time together!

Above: I was SOOOOO tickled pink to meet Lori (Got2BeCrafting). She is JUST as sweet in person as she is online and I hope to see LOTS more of her and to call her a long time crafting friend.

This is Shannon Learner from Provo Craft showing us how to do our make and take for the night! She is so super sweet. We really had a blast with her! A HUGE thanks to PC for sponsoring and coordinating the event!

Somehow I avoided getting my picture taken but next time I want to take pics with everybody! :)

Have a lovely day and I'll be back on Wednesday with my Shop Pumpkin Spice post for the week! :)

My Pink Designer Showcase - a baby card

Have you ever had a picture just come out SOOO weird??? That button is the SAME COLOR as the dark pink in the butterfly's body in real life! And it came out that funky orange in the pic! I almost ripped it off, put on a new button and took another pic! I can't stop staring at it! haha. You'll just have to use your imagination for that part! :)

For the My Pink Designer showcase, we were challenged to "think spring" and to make something using yellow, green, and blue as well as a butterfly, Cricut cut, and either Happiest Moments, Buggy Punnies, Tweetie Hoo Puns, or More Punnylicious. Well, I have all but one of those so I had my pick of the litter! :)

I was inspired by the pinwheels that American Crafts put our recently and thought, "I will make my own!"

My Pink-alicious Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Pink-alicious Blog Hop!!! You should have gotten here from my good friend Cristi's blog! If not, start here at My Pink Stamper's blog to join in the fun and see what prizes you can win along the hop!

Well I did a layout for the last My Pink Designer showcase and Lisa from Lisa's Creative Niche left me a really nice comment and encouragement to keep scrapbooking! It meant a lot to me and I marched into my craft room to make another! Lisa wasn't the only one. I received a lot of wonderful encouragement from a bunch of you. Thank you SO much!!!

This week we were challenged to make something that had to do with St. Patricks' Day, Cricut, My Pink Stamper Stamps and to "think green!" My husband Hans is going to be running his first 5K on St. Patrick's Day with our friend Josh Wilson. He has been diligently training for it and I am SO proud!

Although, I must say... I do find it a tad bit rude that my already skinny-as-a-twig husband is getting skinner every day from training and I am getting larger from pregnancy! How is that fair!?! ;)

Anyway, I'll be putting in the pictures. The top will be of him with his number. The middle will be of him running and the last one will be him with Josh... probably holding a beer. :) The journaling on the card and shamrock will have to wait for the time that he finished in and the place. I am so excited!

I have to say that I LOVE the font My Pink Stamper chose for this sentiment. Perfect!

I based my layout on this sketch HERE. The challenge is expired, but I still liked it! :)

Now make sure to hop back to the My Pink Stamper blog at the end so that you can join in the challenge and the fun! But for the moment, hop along to Chelle's blog!

World Card Making Day Core'dinations Challenge!

Quick post for today, but it was SUPER fun that my husband woke up and said, "I want to make a card!" So I spent most of the morning helping him make his card which I will show at a later date. :)

However, here is my card that I whipped together to participate in the Core'dinations WCMD challenge and monthly October Challenge

Ribbon from my stash and twine is PTI

Here is the color challenge swatch. I was really inspired by the example card by Ellen Sosnoski. I am looking at it now and my oranges are more yellow than orange, but I promise I thought they looked close in real life before I cut them. :(

Cards using Roly Rosies

Today at Imaginisce a few of us DT members have the privilege of showing you what Roly Rosies can look like on your various cards!

I have ALWAYS loved this tool since the minute I rolled my first flower. It's SO easy and quick and adds so much dimension! Your envelopes will definitely be stuffed and you will have to put extra postage on it because it will need to be hand sorted (I have to do that for all of my cards anyway). So grab a petal roller and some roly rosies (they have fabric ones too) and add them to a card, a broach, a hair clip, a headband or even a necklace and enjoy! :)

True Love
The inspiration for this card came from a home decor project that fellow DT member Aphra Bolyer did HERE
