My Creative Time: 3D Box

Hello and welcome to my post for My Creative Time today! 

This is 3-D box day and I wanted to make her Bubble Gum Treat Box!

This will be stuffed with something good to go in Emmaline's Easter Basket. No, she won't be getting any candy, but I have already bought her finger paint (it's edible!) and crayons. 

Designer's note: if you look closely, you'll see outlines of bunnies on the egg. I inked up a My Creative Time stamp with chalk ink and it gave me this vintage-y outline. I loved it.

Blog Overhaul and more Gossamer Blue

Well good morning! :)

You may have noticed that my husband helped me overhaul my blog last night! :) I am really happy with it.  Could you tell me please if you have any problems viewing the pictures, etc? I want to make sure it's good for everyone! :) I can now make the pictures MUCH bigger! :)

He actually created this logo for me when I first started and I wasn't sure I wanted to use it. But I really love it's clean simplicity. See the "C" in the flowers? He actually made this into a stamp for me and I stamp it on the back of almost every card (if I remember to!) 

I have a new blinkie too! woot woot!

Onto my project...

I made this for the Shop Pumpkin Spice challenge going on right now - Coffee or Cocoa.

I wanted the burlap to be wavy... and it kind of is... but it didn't quite make it. ugh. Oh well.

Project Life? Scrapbooking? Yep!

We are supposed to do a Project Life/Photo Freedom or regular layout. This was my first attempt at the Photo Freedom idea and I have to say, I actually had a great time making this layout! I think I found my kind of scrapbooking... or it may be that I have a model that I LOVE to look at! :)

Bothe the "Precious Baby" and the "You Made My Heart Smile" were stamps! They stamped so beautifully they look printed!

Vintage My Mind's Eye

Today I went to Disneyland and tomorrow I will as well! On Saturday CHA starts and I will be walking the floor and helping out in the Core booth. I am really looking forward to seeing a lot of crafty friends! :) I also have some awesome news coming up that I cannot wait to share with you all! :)

I am participating in a challenge for Paper Smooches which called for a vintage project. I thought using last year's MME papers was a good start! I know it's not "uber vintage", but it is older. :) I added doilies, an old button, a croqueted leaf and distressing. I also stamped with an ink pad that was almost out of ink to give it that effect. Hopefully I pulled it off! :)
