Artful Delight Sketch

It also is a VERY late Father's Day Card for my husband - but since our baby is due any day, I thought I would give it to him on the day our baby is born. :)

I used the transparency from the kit as my background. So I took a picture at an angle so you could see the shine.

My Pink Stamper Pink-alicious Blog Hop!

Robyn's challenge to us for this week was to make anything we felt like that reminded us of summertime!

You should have gotten here from Lori's blog. If not, start here at My Pink Stamper's blog!

I give myself a little more "leave" when it comes to ice cream in the summer. You all pretty much know that I am in a condo, but I am also on the top floor and get sun from about 1pm on. So while it's FAB in the winter and we literally turn on our heaters maybe once a year, in the summer it can get a little hot--- and stays hot as there is almost no one with AC in San Francisco. So ice cream or my particular favorite - Frozen Yogurt (adoringly called "FroYo") is my new thing. BUT there aren't any Cricut Cartridges with FroYo on them (Provo Craft are you listening!?! :) :) :)) So ice cream is the next best thing. :)

I made this card using Artful Delight's June Kit and of course My Pink Stamper stamps!

Design notes: I welded these two images on my Gypsy. BUT with Cricut Craft Room coming out, everyone will be able to do it!!! :)

Now head on over to my good friend Cristi's blog!

Oh, and it's my birthday today. :) Tomorrow I have a pot-luck scheduled with a bunch of friends! :) Hope you all have something fun planned for the weekend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

This is the card I made for my mom for her birthday. It's her birthday today!!! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I'll love you forever. I'll like you always. As long as I live, your baby I'll be.

If you all know that book, we put it in every birthday card to each other. :) I have the best mom and am so blessed! She is the reason I started making cards... and then she demanded that I make cards for her throughout the years - and then that turned into a true love of making cards and here I am today! So while this one was not made with scissors and construction paper, it is made from the heart.

I made this card at the most recent Circle Crop last Friday - which was a blast! A huge thanks to Rita (the Circlet that put on the event), Monique and Wendy who helped out a ton, and of COURSE Provo Craft for putting it on!!! Thank you so much!

My new friend Diana Larson inspired me with the idea of two patterned paper strips which when accordianed (new Court word!), turned out to be a great idea! Thanks for the idea Diana!

I made this all using Artful Delight's June Kit! Make sure to grab yours before it's too late!!!

A little birdie told me... You're tweet.

I made this using Artful Delight's June Kit!

This was based on this sketch by Jana Eubank.

I made the birds my rectangles, my ribbon and branch the horizontal lines, and left the title and square layers where they were. It was a little much to fit all of the elements on the card so those are the ones I chose to keep. It's a FAB sketch though and if you're a scrap-booker, then here's another one to use! :)

***This is my third post for the day. Scroll down to see the Imaginisce June Challenge and the Betty Bee's Buzz post! :) ***

This month at Artful Delight I am in LOVE with this kit. It is SO much fun to play with and has so much personality. No matter what style you are, you will love working with this kit. I think it is going to go super quick so grab it while you can!

This is the card I sent to my cousin overseas that I posted about a few days ago! :)

This was based on a sketch by DT member Debbie!

I turned the elements sideways and then piled them on top of each other. The circle is the button and the rose. Thanks Debbie!
