Greetings From CHA!!!

I am SO excited to be here in LA and sharing my experiences with all of you! I have already started a video that I'll have to post after there is more on it! :)

I arrived yesterday afternoon came straight to the condo, and am hanging out with some fabulous ladies! Tammy Skinner (Creative Critters Cricut Club and Creative Critters Imaginations) , Myrel, and Angela are all wonderful ladies and we had a wonderful time at the Brazillian steakhouse! Now, if you want a horribly tragic, but drama-filled review of yesterday's um... craziness, then pop on over to Tammy's blog and give her some virtual hugs!  - A new post will be up in a few minutes! :) (Give some virtual hugs to Myrel too even though she doesn't have a blog.) - Robyn and Karlee arrive this morning so we'll have to take a new "group picture" later! :)

This morning I am on my way to the Cricut Circle meet-up and I am thrilled! I volunteered to help with the make and take - I don't even know what it is - but I am excited to meet a bunch of Circlets!

There will be no cameras allowed, but I am going to try to take some pictures with ladies there outside of the room so you can see how Cricut-crazy we all are. And if you're coming, I'll be in my Imaginisce apron and will be happy to share any tips or information I have with you about their products!

Okay, so here's a little project for you that didn't photograph very well. In the Circle we have to make 3x3 old fashioned calling cards to bring to share our information. Of course I designed a shaped 3x3 card!

 Recipe:
Cartridge: Tie the Knot™ (present shape)
I blemished out (not a word, but I'm making it up!) my Circle number for privacy reasons.

If you're at CHA, stop by booths 1770 and 1767. The Imaginisce DT girls will be there to show you all of the new tools including the Pogo and the I-top 2.0! You can also see the new lines called Berrylicious, Happy Camper, and Little Cutie. And Imaginisce did not want to leave anyone out of CHA who couldn't go, so all of those new products are up on the Imaginisce website already! Just click on the names of the products and I have provided you with the links. Feel free to stay and look around as there are new fabric roly rosies, glittered glue sticks, lots of new i-rock colors and much more too!

Okay, if there is anything you are dying to see, let me know and based on if they allow me take pictures/video it, I will be glad to do that for you! :)

Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar - Home decor project

This project was really fast!

I did this for the Honey Bee Showcase over at Betty Bee's Buzz. We Honey Bees (the DT) use the tutorial presented on Monday to come up with something that is inspired by the tutorial for Wednesday.

This week I decided to do a home decor project.

This was my first time working with felt and I did it so that this would qualify for one of the Cricut Circle contests going on. I had a great time with it and I think I will definitely be using it again in future projects!

This is going to be a quick post and I will enter in the recipe information later. I have to make dinner for my husband and my co-parents (in-laws) and so I wanted to get this in before the deadline. :)

2 Challenges in honor of breast cancer awareness

This week Love4Stamps and the Cricut Circle blog are having challenges that involve raising awareness of breast cancer and support of those going though the battle.

I made a card a few weeks ago that hit directly on it and gave it to someone fighting the pink fight.

I made this card to remind someone that they are BEAUTIFUL no matter what they are going through and how they are feeling as a result of this terrible disease.

Recipe:
Cartridge: Wild Card™

Also, Denine at Pumpkin Spice is having a free shipping extravaganza! Isn't her name for the sale just the cutest? I love it. Go on over and check out her merchandise! I used it all on this card! :)

Circle Challenge Card

This week's challenge over at the Cricut Circle Blog (open for all people to join until the 10th or 11th I think) is to use two cuts from the French Manor Cartridge (Cricut Circle Exclusive).

So I made this card quickly last night to slide it in under the deadline. I made the bird cage into a shaped card - you know how I feel about shape cards by now :)

Recipe:
Cartridge: French Manor™
Paper: MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue Line: "Happily Ever After"™ (both sides for the off white stripes and the darker pink), MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue Line: "Pretty" Polka Paper™ (back side of the polka dots for the lighter pink)
Stamps: MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue Line: "Pretty" Stamps™ (the stamp behind the bird), My Pink Stamper: Family and Friends™ (Believe)
MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue Line: "Happily Ever After" Decorative Brads™
Doodling
Glossy Accents
Swarovski Crystal

This picture did not do this paper justice. It is a gorgeous romantic raspberry paper. I am definitely in love with this line.

Have a wonderful Thursday! :)

Cricut Circle and Wee Memories

Eek! This morning I just finally took the plunge and decided to become a Circlet. I got the invitation back in June, but just didn't know enough about it to decide whether or not to join. Now I know a little more and will definitely be deciding whether it was worth it later on... I don't do "impulse buys" or really spend money superfluously on myself very often at all. My husband was thrilled that I would make an "I just really want this" decision. Haha. Now I can't wait to get my welcome pack!!!

This is the final day to get your submissions into the Wee Memories Challenge. The theme is butterflies. Hurry! Mr. Linky closes in 15 hours!

Don't forget about my giveaway. I woke up this morning and both cartridges were on my doorstep. I ordered them on the 9th! How fast is that! Love it and excited that at least one will be leaving me and heading to one of you! They do look so cute though... I could renege and keep both... Nah, I'll keep the contest going ;)

Also, especially if you're a scrap booker, check out the layouts the Design Team made over at the Cuttlebug Challenges!

That's all for today! Happy Friday! My mom is coming up to San Francisco today and I am excited to have "mommy and me" time.

Tomorrow I will have posts for both my project for the Cuttlebug Challenges AND WeeMemories. I am very excited about both.
