Cuttin' Up Saturdays - Under the Sea

This was our take two with Digital Delights by Louby Loo! Like the rhyme? I'm such a dork. ;)

I wanted to make a card set with her cute digital stamps.

Our goal today is to show you how the centerpoint function can be used on your Cricut®. I had never done this before and a: it is SO easy and b: I will definitely be using it again! I picked up my tutorials from Tammy's blog.

Here are a few:
This is one she did to make words the center of the invitation.
This is a link to her blog post with a video embedded to do a recipe card!

I chose the Octopus, Water Turtle, and Starfish. I LOVE that little Water Turtle - so cute!

Using Tammy's tutorials (I had only watched the two that I posted above), I decided to give it a whirl. I chose an image from Graphically Speaking™ and my Bo Bunny™ Dot (or is it double dot?) paper and did exactly what she said. I think they came out brilliantly. :) Thanks Tammy!

Sorry about the Cuttlebug folder in the back that I was using to prop up the turtle card. Haha. I bet you didn't think of that use for your Cuttlebug folders! :)

The two on the bottom are A2 sized cards. The turtle one on top is not because it was a scrap piece that was still big enough for a card. I just made layers, tied some ribbon, pop dotted the sea creatures, and stamped/glued the sentiments. Easy peasy cutsy card set.

Don't forget to hop on over to the Cuttlebug Challenges and play along this week for a chance to win the Digital Delights by Louby Loo ENTIRE Under the Sea set! :) You have until Tuesday at midnight.

Ribbon Storage

Well, Tammy over at Creative Critters Cricut Club wanted us to show her our ribbon storage. This is so embarrassing, but here is mine! They are all sideways in a box. I only have one crafting drawer (and another one for just paper) because we live in a studio. So everything has to fit! :)

All the ribbon that you see in the right hand column of the two columns just came yesterday in the mail as a belated birthday present from my friend Aubrey! So she literally doubled my ribbon supply! She also sent some great embellishments, buttons, and some Mod Podge. When I was in college, Aubs used to send me little care packages and she was always so creative! I told her I had caught the creative bug and she sent me this! It was very exciting. Thanks honey and I hope you're enjoying Peru!

The mini album that you can partly see in this picture I won over at Joanna's blog! She is so talented and I use it as inspiration all the time!
