My Pink-alicious Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Pink-alicious Blog Hop!

You should have gotten here from Andrea's blog. If you didn't, start HERE at My Pink Stamper's blog for all of the fun!!!

Our challenge was "a fresh clean start" - make something to give to someone or for yourself to celebrate a fresh clean start to a new year!

I know that people are trying to eat healthier in general when the new year comes along so I decided to make a little goodie bag of yummy things that were healthy for you! Good sugars (fruit) paired with protein (almonds) creates a VERY healthy and nutritious snack! Of COURSE My Pink Stamper's Fruit and Veggie Puns were to the rescue when you need a punny fruity stamp! :) Love it!

Have a SUPER birthday!

Our ring bearer's birthday was on Halloween. He is so SMART! His parents even just flew him out to Florida to watch the last space shuttle launch. So with that fresh in his mind, I knew I wanted to make him a rocket card! The one on Nifty Fifties was perfect!

Father's Day - You've Got the Beat!

This is the card I made for my dad for Father's Day. I got super lucky when it comes to dads and have been a "daddy's girl" for most of my life.

One time when I was 14 he was at a conference in San Francisco. He flew me up there for the evening and took me to listen to jazz and to go swing dancing. That was the most extravagant thing that he ever did, but he did take me on regular dates. Apparently he got some advice from someone that said when I got to be a teenager, that he should start to "date me" so that I knew what it should be like to be treated kindly and correctly and with propriety. He opened doors for me and brought me home on time (whenever mom wanted him to). It worked. I never let a man push me around or disobey my parents or put me in compromising circumstances. So I wanted to pass that on to you! My dad taught me the start of how I should be loved. And now I have an amazing husband who loves me more than I could imagine. It all started with my dad treating me the way that he wanted me to be treated when I was older. So thank you daddy-o!

He also taught swing dancing for a while so this card was perfect for him!

I embossed the background with music notes, but you can't really see it.

Father's Day Imaginisce Style

Today at Imaginisce we are showing you inspiration for Father's Day! So if you are running a little last minute like I was (I made this yesterday!) then pop over to get some great ideas! We had inspiration for gifts yesterday!

This is for my husband's father for Father's Day. He's a remarkable man. I've only gotten to know him since Hans and I started dating and he has quickly become one of my heros. He's a true man's man and I hope he will like this card!
