I was trying to create something clean and simple and I just HAD to use these little cotton and felt cupcakes! I love them!

Everything is from the January Kit by Artful Delight except for the tiny type letters which are from the Echo Park Be Mine collection.

I hope you think it is "sweet" too. :)

Cupcake Shape Card and I'm a My Pink Designer! :)

I am SO excited to share that last night I was announced as a My Pink Designer! I have been holding it in since before Christmas and am finally able to share it with you!!! I am SO excited about it and thank you SO much to Robyn for giving me this opportunity!

I don't know what's wrong with me - I'm usually not *that* girlie, but this kit has me in a pink and purple loving mood! I just love this card! :)

I created this card for Artful Delight using their January kit which can be found HERE. 

The only thing that wasn't from the January kit was the white card stock and the twine which is from the Twinery. 

I used the Cake Basics Cartridge™ and my Gypsy™ to weld the cupcake together. After that it was easy peasy!

Next up, I have a request - most of us are card makers and a dear friend of mine and his wife just lost their 13 month old baby girl. It was something rare and in 30 hours she went from perfectly healthy to gone from their lives. There was nothing they could do. They were incredibly brave and donated her organs and already 5 children's lives have been saved. They are seeing the blessing in this storm and are leaning on God to guide them through this horrific time. Their names are Sean and Kjersten Post and their daughter's name was Brynnley.

I don't want to invade on their privacy, but if you would like to send a card to them, I would really love it if they knew how many people are praying for them and their situation.

Designer's notes:

I used my i-rock to set the stones on the top of the ladybug's antennae and the middle of the flowers.

I sanded the Core'dinations paper after embossing it with swiss dots to create the "polka dots" on the brads.

I used my Extreme Adhesive Squares from Glue Arts™ to layer and attach the flowers - they aren't going anywhere! :)

DIY Christmas Bows, Matching Tag an Card too!

Before I continue, there is a blog hop going on at the Imaginisce blog where you could win a prize valued over $50! Here is a picture of some of the prize! Remember to play along in Pinky's challenge this month to re-purpose something using 75% Imaginisce products and you could win a prize package valued at $75!

I have a few left over "Christmas" projects. So I am going to share a few more! I hope you enjoy this!

These bows actually don't take long at all and you can match them to a card or tag to look super shnazzy.

I originally found this tutorial here. I am going to recreate it for you though.

Instructions: 

Total paper used: 1 6"x12" sheet of double sided paper.

Cut 8 1x6" strips of paper.

Next cut 1 1x4" strip from the top of what is left.

Lastly, cut 4 1x5" strips from what is left. I love it when there is no waste!

This is what you should now have:

Using your Glue Glider Pro or ATG you can put adhesive on one side of the paper so that the other side sticks making remembrance ribbons. It should look like this:

In the original tutorial by Beth, she used brads to hold the pinwheels together. I used my Crop a Dile with eyelets because I don't have any mini-brads or brads that aren't decorative hanging around. I didn't want to hide my nice ones in a bow, so I did this instead and it worked great! 

Lastly, I used my Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares™ (I told you I was addicted to these!) to hold the pinwheels together to create the bow! 

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial and maybe if you run out of bows you now know you don't have to go buy a big bag, you can just make your own! :) 

 I made the matching tag with the stickers that come with the Merry Christmas Line™.

 I made this card and envelope to match. The "Winter Wonderland" and the banner on the envelope came from the reverse side of the Tis the Season Card Paper™. 

Who has matching tags, bows, and cards? When you make your own anything is possible! Of course all of this is from the Merry Christmas line from Echo Park Paper!
