Your Story project

It's about time that I brought out my Your Story!!!

We moved into a new house as you all know and before in our condo, we always had to put the dog on a leash to take her outside to go potty. Now we have a yard (yay) but she scratches the door to come back in. We don't want her to scratch the door to bits so I made this sign for her to tape on the spot where she would scratch to protect it.

Unfortunately the thickers were a little thick to put through the Your Story. I mean, they went through just fine, but they wrinkled the lamination. That's totally fine with me as I don't need a perfect looking doggy door scratch-resistant thingy-mablober. Just so you know, the Your Story does an EXCELLENT job on flat projects. You can click on some of my other ones by clicking on the label that says "Your Story" and all of those projects will show up! :) I know, I know. I need to do more!

Spoon is on the left with (one of her) doggy boyfriends Sammy. Aren't they adorable!?!

2011 - A year in review

I am loving the response to the giveaway for Echo Park's Yours Truly! I can't wait to see who the winner is! You still have time to get in. Click HERE! :)

This is for the Cricut Circle challenge - a year in review. It would have pictures in it (I intend for them all to be black and white) but my printer still hasn't gotten it's act together since the move. My computer and the printer simply aren't talking! How rude! ;)

I am still just learning how to do layouts and while this was all on my own, my plan is to case some of the amazing talent around the bloggy world until I find my style. So you will probably see some casing going on soon -and appropriate linking when I do-! :)

LOVE and a ***giveaway***!!!

What?!? No stamps and no crinkled ribbon? I must be sick! haha. No, I was just having some fun challenging myself!

Getting ready for Valentine's day, I think that we should definitely have a giveaway!!!! Why? Because I would like to shower love on YOU! (get it? That's why there is an umbrella on the card. But I couldn't fit the whole "showering love on you" on the outside so that will go on the inside of the card.)

I am giving away an ENTIRE collection pack of Echo Park Paper Yours Truly!!!

I picked this up at Shop Pumpkin Spice HERE! If you don't win, make sure to pick it up! It's darling! :)

Please leave a comment to win! I'll pick the winner in a week or so. So check back to see if you have won! If you are international, I just ask that you pay the shipping over what it would cost  me in the states. If that's okay with you, then enter away! :)

My Pink Designer Post: Valentines!

Whew! Sorry it's been so long since I have posted! I've been creating up a storm though and I think you will like the projects!

We are busy unpacking in the new place and it took a while just to get to my crafting supplies! We just got a table on Sunday so I am done scrapping on the floor (yippee!). When the room is done of COURSE I will take pictures! :)

Here is the valentine that I made for my husband! I was trying to go with non-traditional colors and make it "not too girly". How did I do? :)

I used My Pink Stamper's: From the Heart™. It's a biggie stamp set!

Love & Hugs!

Good Wednesday morning to all of you!!! This is SUPER early in the morning for most of you and by the time some of you read this, I will have a second post up today!!!

It's about time that I made up for my lack of posting! :)

This is my post for Shop Pumpkin Spice for this week! Check back into her store and the blog because there will be a BIG reveal for next month's kit! I am super excited about it!

Make sure to get the Echo Park Paper: Yours Truly (linked below) before it is gone gone gone! I am having a blast with this line and you will see I have more projects made with it coming up! :) Make sure to get the solids along with your collection pack because I think they are super helpful to go with the patterns. I used the black, pink, AND red on this card! I think it really helps it come together (I ordered two of each solid just to make sure I had enough!)

My Pink-alicious Blog Hop!

Welcome to the My Pink-alicious Blog Hop!

You should have gotten here from Andrea's blog. If you didn't, start HERE at My Pink Stamper's blog for all of the fun!!!

Our challenge was "a fresh clean start" - make something to give to someone or for yourself to celebrate a fresh clean start to a new year!

I know that people are trying to eat healthier in general when the new year comes along so I decided to make a little goodie bag of yummy things that were healthy for you! Good sugars (fruit) paired with protein (almonds) creates a VERY healthy and nutritious snack! Of COURSE My Pink Stamper's Fruit and Veggie Puns were to the rescue when you need a punny fruity stamp! :) Love it!

Valentine's Tag

Good Wednesday Morning!

I got EVERYTHING shown here from Shop Pumpkin Spice!!! Check out the "new items" and you might see a sneak of the "A Boy's Life" by Echo Park up for pre-order and I happen to know that Crate Paper's Paper Heart will be making an appearance shortly so if you were thinking of buying it, hold off for Denine's great prices!

I'm here for a quick tag to go on your Valentine's gifts!

My husband and I got the wonderful opportunity to go to Paris a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it so this will probably be for him. We don't do a lot on Valentine's Day. So we'll probably order a pizza and have a picnic on the floor and he might even let me pick a chick flick movie! haha.

Last year I did a 5 course dinner for my friends with wine pairings. Hmm... maybe I should do that again!

Anywho, here it is!

I've been seeing these stitched hearts everywhere, but I don't have a sewing machine. So I scored them all in the middle, punched holes in the top one, and strung twine through it to still give it a "stitched" feel. :)

I attached each of the centers of the hearts together using one extreme adhesive square in between each later.

I also entered this into City Crafter's Challenge Blog #91 where my SUPER sweet friend June is guest designing this week! The challenge is "Back to Black" with a silhouette. Love it! :)
