Creepy Crawlies and Day 6 of 1000 Follower Giveaway!

Yesterday at Shop Pumpkin Spice, June was kind enough to take my day "Wednesday" and switch with me because of my Papa John. THANK YOU JUNE! So today I am sharing my card on Thursday! 

Don't be afraid to pull out last year's stash! I pulled out last year's Halloween line from MME to make this card and I still love it! Last year I put all of my leftover Halloween papers and embellishments in the same bag so that it would make pulling it out this year easier. It worked for me! :)

Today's giveaway is a set of Cuttlebug Folders! If you don't have a Cuttlebug, GET ONE! :) It was my FIRST card making tool and it is still probably still my favorite. Well, my friends. Today I have some bad news. Last night my grandfather passed away after an amazing battle with cancer. He was the bravest, kindest, best patient and he never complained. He said he was doing "great" everyday and even though he was the one in the hospital bed, he offered others his food or a tissue or wanted to make sure they were taken care of. That was his way.

AC inks and another GIVEAWAY!!!

American Crafts Inks were SO kind to give us all two stamp pads each! I received white and grape in my box and couldn't wait to pull them out! I needed a good solid white and I got JUST that. I used it on my school house that I did for the My Pink-alicious Blog Hop HERE. You can see how intense it is! I love it!

I will say that it was pretty hard to get off of the stamps though afterwards. This ink means business. So I would recommend soaking it in a little bowl of soapy water for a little while and then scrubbing it off.

Since I LOVE Imaginisce, I am going to give you papers from my OWN collection of a BUNCH of the different collections from Imaginisce. I Heart Fall

Today is the release of the Imaginisce Sketch Challenge!

I turned it into a card. I kept trying to put more and more on this card and then kept taking it off. I'm really happy with the result and it is *gasp* Cricut free! It doesn't happen very often! I LOVE my Cricut! 


Anyway, here it is. The squares are all scraps. I love it when that happens. They are cut outs from some windows that will be shown to you on the 9th of September. :) You'll just have to wait and see! :)

Well, my posts have been a little short recently and that's because I have been spending a lot of time in Monterey supporting my mom and visiting my grandfather who is dying of cancer. He is the BEST patient and always so upbeat and so brave. He says he is feeling fine every day no matter how much pain he is in. He has been an incredible example to all of us in the family and we are so proud of him. I am thankful for every moment we get to spend with him. 

I made this for the physical therapist who is helping him to walk. We had a not so great one before her and this one is just SO fabulous with him and really understand him. They brighten each other's days and he makes splendid progress with her. I just wanted to let her know how much we appreciate her.

This month's theme for the blog hop is My Mind's Eye!! The girls were to use ANY My Mind's Eye products in their projects as they are one of the chief lines that Shop Pumpkin Spice carries AND this month's kit that Carissa designed is made with My Mind's Eye! 

I think I should have used black ink because you can barely read the sentiment on the bottom! I promise it's clearer in real life. :)
